Methodology

Postcodes are uppercased, whitespace-normalised and validated before lookup. Coordinates and statistical geography come from the loaded ONS Postcode Directory release. Civic does not infer a risk or desirability score.

Fire

Incidents are selected by published point, radius and rolling period. First-appliance percentiles use mobilisation rows where pump order is one.

Crime

Postcodes resolve to LSOA. Current and previous 12-month periods retain the source classification regime.

Road safety

STATS19 collisions are selected by published point, radius and collision date; severity follows DfT codes.

Planning

Planning Data entities must intersect the ONSPD postcode centroid. Empty results do not prove an absence of constraints.
